My Journey with Reiki
If you’re new to Reiki, you’re not alone.
Many of my clients arrive at their first session feeling curious, open, and just a little unsure. And that’s perfectly okay. Reiki is more than just a healing technique, it’s a return to self, to inner peace, and to your own intuitive wisdom.
I first discovered Reiki over a decade ago. At the time, I was searching for more balance and calm in my life. Like many, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, it wasn’t a dramatic overnight change, but rather a gentle unfolding.
Over time, Reiki began to offer me something deeply restorative: a space to feel grounded, a sense of quiet healing, and the ability to better tune in to my body and energy.
During sessions, I began to notice where I was holding on to thoughts, to pain, to emotional or energetic blocks. Working with a skilled practitioner helped me release those patterns. It felt like shedding invisible weight I didn’t know I was carrying.
That experience of coming back into balance, of feeling more connected to my own energy and less overwhelmed, is what inspired me to become a practitioner myself.
