A space to move from reaction and pressure into clarity, regulation, and grounded decision-making.
Ashleigh Burness
I was born and raised in Zimbabwe.
From there, life took me everywhere, Scotland, London, New Zealand, New York, and eventually back to Australia, where I am now. Each place shaped me. Each move felt like an expansion.
For twenty years, I built a career in Business Operations and People leadership that genuinely fulfilled me. I loved the pace, the travel, the complexity, the sense of building something.
And then, slowly and then all at once, something stopped working.
A growing disconnection from the drive that had carried me until eventually I couldn't ignore it any more. I walked away from corporate. And for the first time in a long time, I had to face myself without the structure and identity that career had given me.
That year was the hardest and most clarifying of my life.
Reiki was one of the first steps I took toward something different, a modality that became both a personal practice and a discovery of something I hadn't expected: a genuine gift for this kind of work. The healing I was doing in myself started becoming something I could offer others.
Zymmie was built from that. Not from a business plan, from the lived experience of falling apart and finding something truer on the other side.
Outside of the work, I am most myself when I am cooking for people I love, exploring somewhere new, or sitting quietly with Billy, my dog, who I am finally reunited with here in Perth.
If any of this resonates, if you are somewhere in the middle of your own unravelling and rebuilding, you are in the right place.
The Work
There are three ways I work with people, each designed for a different depth of engagement.
Reiki & Energetic Healing A private healing session that works at the body level, settling the nervous system, clearing energetic tension, and creating the kind of stillness that thinking alone rarely produces. Often the starting point. Always available as an ongoing practice.
The Identity Reset A private 40-day experience for women in the middle of something real.
Built around the Regulate → Reclaim → Rebuild framework, this is structured, deep, and designed to move you from emotional overwhelm toward grounded clarity and self-trust.
The Circle of Connection A growing community open to everyone through Write. Dance. Breathe. sessions, intimate dinners, and community gatherings. The entry point for anyone beginning to ask different questions about how they want to live.
Ashleigh is sharp and insightful, she quickly identifies where you’re “stuck”, whether in thinking, communication, or career choices.
Her work is both supportive and energizing, leaving you with clarity and actionable steps after each session.
